My shoulder has healed more or less; last Monday it was manipulated to set the socket back properly in the joint, so I have to do a new set of exercises to help with that. I have to hook myself into a rubber tube-type shoulder harness, stick the knotted end of that in a door, take a couple of long steps, and do two exercises in that position, with my shoulder yanked backwards. Shall I just say that whole new sets of muscles have made their displeasure known?
My Carpenter-in-Chief did make me a new market stall, to be a fishmonger's stall. It will go back into production next week, as we are heading off to a family reunion for a few days. While I'm away, I'm going to try some fine hand-work, (in short bursts, of course) to see if my shoulder will allow me to go ahead with all those minis that are calling to me (and making me feel very guilty for not working on them....)
On the way to the reunion, I hope to stop at the only decent shop in our area now to sell miniature wood. At least, I hope they still sell it, haven't been there in a couple of years. I do know they took on some items from a miniature shop that ceased trading, although it is actually more of a model, railroad and remote control Big Boy's Toys kind of shop. My wood supply is getting very low, to the point where the newest market stall frame has some of that crappy Revel wood from Michael's in it.
